Achieve Powerful Beauty with Bionic Beauty™
Welcome to another Powerful Beauty Friday here at Bionic Beauty! Today Nenette Mayor of LifeCandy.net shares her tips on how she achieves her gorgeous self. Nenette’s blog, LifeCandy, is another of my daily must-reads. She has a fab sense of humor and writes such down to earth articles, that if I’m in a slump, I always come away from her blog smiling (see number 8 below). Plus she’s uber-talented… a mom, hula dancer, engineer, and way too much to list here in this teeny article.

Anyhow, enjoy Nenette’s contribution!

I achieve Powerful Beauty by taking care of the basics: (1) Make sure my skin is properly cared-for. (2) Get enough sleep. (3) Drink plenty of water. (4) Stay active. (5) Get the perfect low-maintenance haircut for my long wavy hair. (6) Nourish myself with clean healthy food. (7) Relax. (8) Smile. (9) Great sex… which also leads to (7) & (8). 😉

When the basics are taken care of, my skin glows, my eyes shine, and well, almost everyday is a “good hair day”. Totally handy for busy days when all I need is a slick of my favorite mascara to dazzle everyone with my blinding radiant beauty. Really. It’s true. Just ask my totally unbiased husband. 😉
Oh, and when I’ve had time to do my mascara and lipstick, watch out! I turn into a rockstar, with Hollywood hotties throwing their boxers and tighty-whities at me. Really. It’s true.

But really, the most important of the basics is (8) — I bet you thought I was going to say (9)! Nothing makes a person more radiantly beautiful than a smile. It’s natural. It’s uniquely you. It shows a love of self and a love of life. And that is beauty that’s hard to beat!

Can you see why I enjoy Nenette’s writing? She’s just perfectly direct and enjoyable! Do any of you ladies follow one or more of Nenette’s 9 tips? Besides number 5 (since my hair is short), I’m on board with those. And smiling *is* essential to your true beauty!

Catch up on the rest of the Powerful Beauty features. And remember to check back each Friday for another dose of how to Achieve Powerful Beauty!

#3 has changed my life. When I don’t drink enough water, my body is sluggish. Drinking water makes my skin brighter and everything else feel healthy

Dammit! I *knew* she had secrets! And brilliant in their simplicity. Thanks for prying them out of her.
(The smile is where all that Inner Beauty pours out, right Nen?)

To quote Annie – You’re never fully-dressed without a smile. So quit walking around half-naked, you flashers! Smile! If life is too gloom and doom to smile at, do what I did and ban the news from your life. It’s never good, anyway… 🙂

Nenette is a completely beautiful person and her blogsite LifeCandy is amazing!

I completely agree with the smiling. My children bring most of my smiles, but I try to remember to smile at many things throughout the day and at all people I come across.

Best to all you beauties and wonderful post!
