I loooove the quotes by Faith Whittlesey and Elizabeth Kubler Ross. Heard the Ginger Rogers one before, but dang, it sure bears repeating.
One of my favorite powerful beauty quotes is, “I yam what I yam, and that’s ALL that I yam.” Of course it was by a man. Er, cartoon character.
But I think it is actually quite profound and cool. I recently dealt with a difficult observation about myself from someone. It really made me think about who and how I am. While there is always room for improvement and adaptation, at my core, I just plain ol’ yam what I yam. Gotta be true to myself.
