This week’s guest for Powerful Beauty Friday is Nicole Chase. Nicole is the founder of Sulori spa and skin care products: a range that includes soaps, botanical salts, whipped butters, lip balms, and masques. All the items are developed with a natural and holistic approach in mind.
Nicole is often asked where she got the name ‘Sulori’- “It comes from combining the names of my two daughters, Sushaunna and Ilori, the inspiration behind the product line. In response to skin problems that they were experiencing, I began making products for their skin with great results.”
So Nicole, how do you Achieve Powerful Beauty?
Compassion, selflessness, and love are terms that come to mind when I think about powerful beauty rather than outer appearances. While I believe that physical beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it can’t be mistakened when you meet a compassionate or kind person no matter the outer appearance. I think that when you use your greater inner qualities to help those in need or simply to make the world a better place, your beauty is most powerful.
I also believe that powerful beauty comes with a healthy lifestyle. To accomplish this, I eat a vegetarian diet, exercise regularly, laugh often, and meditate. With these items as a part of my routine, I feel confident, empowered and beautiful on the inside and out.

I love nicole’s definition! Inside is what matters. I especially liked it because I’m a vegetarian too!
I totally agree with Nicole’s definition. I think a person’s inner qualities are more important than appearances. I also think being healthy is the ultimate key to beauty…. You have to take care of yourself in order to shine inwards and outwards!
