UK-based skin, body and hair care cosmetics company, Anatomicals, is creating a buzz with their fun, wacky and totally off-beat marketing campaigns. Just check out the funniness below…
Bionic loves the quirky Anatomical ads!
Not what you normally see while beauty shopping, right? I love it for its freshness. It’s actually quite nice to see a cosmetics company shake things up a bit. Well, all that shaking caught my eye. Here are my reviews of a few Anatomical products…
Another Bloody Shower Gel by Anatomicals
Another Bloody Shower Gel – My Twilight buddies and True Blood gals are gonna love this body wash. It’s a dark dark red when you squeeze it out. Looks just like the bloody chocolate syrup used in Bates’ Psycho Hotel. The color fades when you go to suds up, but then you get the lovely citrus scent- sort of a blood orange base, which seems appropriate. In all, this is a fabulous body wash. I love that it rinses easily and leaves my skin with a slightly extra amount of moisture. I’ll definitely make this a staple in the Bionic Shower.
Ingredients: aqua (water), sodium lauryl ether sulfate, cocamidopropyl dimethylamine, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamide DEA, glycerin, perfume/fragrance, sodium chloride (salt), citric acid (vitamin c), tetrasodium EDTA, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus), CI 42090, CI 16035, CI 17200.
What a Complete and Utter Glosser lipgloss from Anatomicals
What a Complete and Utter Glosser fruity lip gloss in ‘I never fake strawberry milkshake” – Yummy. This lip gloss is a medium shine, non-sticky and actually pretty darn moisturizing dream. The flavor is subtle.
Ingredients: Hydrogenated isopolybutene, capric acid, triglyceride, silica dimethyl silylate, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond oil), vitamin e, propylparaben, fragaria vesca (strawberry), ci 12010.
Snog Me Senseless minty tingling lip balm – This “balm” is actually more of a lip gloss, but without the stickiness and more moisture. It’s perfect over top a lip color, lipstain, or just on bare “no color” lips. The mint is refreshing but not enough to dry your skin. Plus like the other Anatomical products- the name just cracks me up. I get people laughing whenever I pull this little gem out of my purse.
(For those gals who aren’t familiar with “snogging” it’s the British term for kissing, i.e. making out. Quite popular in Harry Potter.)
Ingredients: Hydrogenated isopolybutene, capric triglyceride, mentha spicata (mint), beeswax, vitamin e acetate, octyl isononanoate, perfume.
All these Anatomicals products are available at Anatomicals.net. If you’ve got some free time, you really should take a trip through their hilarious and fun website. It’s guaranteed to make you giggle!

Ohhh, I have see a couple of their products at Marshall’s, but didn’t really think to much about them. I may have to take another look next time I go over there.
