Sorry to hear it is discontinued. Since Lancome and L'Oreal are the same company, their products are typically VERY similar. So you might try one of their eyeliners. I used to use this one I think about 12 years ago. It's the perfect shade for my olive/tan complexion. I agree that it's very smooth, yet, unlike other pencils, didn't smudge on my slightly oily skin. The pencil was nice and long, and if I hadn't lost it during a move a few months after purchase, I know it would've lasted a long time for me.
