Hi Susan,
In my opinion, it really depends on the skin care you are using on whether you should have an eye cream or not. The short answer is yes- the eye area is the most delicate skin on your face. With Lexli though, I've had no problem using their night cream on my eyes, or when I want extra moisture their Intensive Moisture Treatment. I sometimes pat either one overtop of my concealer and mineral makeup. It helps prevent lines and dryness through the day.

Before using the AloeGlyC around your eye area, I suggest getting your face used to it first. Depending on how sensitive your face skin is, it may take a few days or a week. I talked with Jessica at Lexli before I started using their products since my skin is super-sensitive. She suggested I mix a bit of AloeGlyC with their Night Moisturizer and then apply to my face. I did these for a few weeks until I was all adjusted, now I use it straight. It's fine for most people, but I just have very picky skin. ;)

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions, if so, post them here!
Best,
Jami

I went to the Lexli skin web site to look at the products. They really do look like great products. Thanks for the great review. I was interested that Dr.Abdullah doesn't think eye creams are necessary. I was always told that the eye area is the most sensitive area on the face. Is that a fallacy?

Hi Jami,

Glad the Lexli products worked for you! I just wanted to comment on the AloeGlyC. Because of the low pH of the AloeGlyC, it is close to a Dr. office chemical peel, in which you usually spend at least $120+ for just one peel. The AloeGlyC should be used twice a day everyday & should last a month. So everytime you apply the AloeGlyC to your face, you are giving yourself a medical grade peel for less than $4 a day with the same results. You must use around a nickel size amount of product to get enough acid to break down the dead skin cells and stimulate cell renewal and collagen production in the dermis. If you use a dab, you won't see results for months. :)
