Alrightie… Yep, sounds like I’m sticking with the ‘fox. I use WAY too many add-ons to switch anyhow. Page rank, FireBug (IT ROCKS for troubleshooting your code or doing new layouts ladies!!), Color Picker (again, because I’m a designer & engineer at heart), Alexa tool bar (because I’m obsessed with Alexa ranking and helping my favorite websites improve theirs by my visits). Hee.

Ack! I accidentally hit the tab key and the last comment posted before I was done So… post continued:
There’s no Google toolbar, so there’s no Page Rank, no Google search bar, etc (uh – what company’s browser is this??) I had to download a hack to get Page Rank.

There’s no “print” button. Yes, control-print works, but I like my print button! Another hack/bookmarklet.

There’s no command line. No File-Edit-View-Tools, etc. I use those a lot. If you’re gonna use Chrome, you’d better know all your keyboard shortcuts!

You cannot format the page setup. You print what you print the way Chrome wants you to print it. Which includes printing everything with headers and footers. Printing my invoices for customers with the url running across it doesn’t look to swift, and there is no hack (or at least not that I’ve found) to get rid of it.

There’s probably a whole lot more, but those are the things I found in the first hour or so, and haven’t used it again since!

My, we’ve cetainly gotten O.T (sorry, Kelley)! I was going to Tweet this, but no way to fit it into 140 characters.

I’ll check the site on Chrome to see how it looks and works when I boot up the desktop (I use the laptop while slurping my morning coffee waiting for the ability to function), but here’s my thoughts on Chrome. It’s fine for surfing. I used it for a whopping 2 or 3 hours and ditched it because it’s missing some key things:

I was being silly for Robyn’s benefit, but my friend switched to it on her very old and very slow computer and it runs like a DREAM, so I can only imagine what it would do on a fairly up to date computer! I lurves the ‘fox though, no changing anytime soon for me!

Just adding that I like the new layout. Yes it takes a little getting used to but hey we’re al grown ups we can do that!

I’m gonna be a little snarky here and say Danielle maybe you need to take a chill pill or some OCD meds or a shot? I’m sure The Bionic one will miss you, me not so much.

The only thing I’d change is to show you can leave Comments on each entry. The lead post doesn’t show that you can leave Comments from the front page. Does that make sense?
