While watching the Giants play Green Bay in the frigid cold last night, I noticed that NY coach Tom Coughlin could really use some skin care advice. For those who did not watch, it was -4 degrees, and -24 degrees with the wind chill. And Tom did not even have his face covered. First quarter, he was a little pink, and at the half he was bright red with white raccoon eyes (I’m guessing the skin around his eyes was already frozen and had given up hope of being warm).
By the end of the game, his face was purple. I swear… PURPLE! It was painful to look at. I even joked during the game that the TV stations was going to need to put a warning disclaimer for “graphic images” for the broadcast.

Poor guy. I sure hope he’s getting some balm on that skin. Ouch!
Let this be a lesson to us all- don’t forget to wrap up against the wind and cold this winter!!

He should have used my Ski Bomb….

Wow, that does look painful… he must have skin like leather as I’m sure that’s not his first experience with purple skin… he needs to put on a good night cream before bed to keep that leather supple…
I just know he’s in pain this morning. Granted it’s probably overcome by the fact that he’s happy to go to the Super Bowl, but he’s just got to be in pain!
Joanna- Yes, he should have.
“Hey Mr. Coughlin, listen up… go place an order from Product Body! The dry Arizona weather in 2 weeks isn’t going to help that wind burn any!”
No doubt he could protect his face with a good balm. Purple? Yikes! That was an incredible game, but I couldn’t help but shiver for all the players and fans out there. Wasn’t it like -20 with the wind chill? Brrrrrr!
Yeah, it was actually -24 with the windchill. And here I am fussing about 10 degrees. LOL!
