October is breast cancer awareness month. If you are over 40, PLEASE be sure to ask your Gyn or family doctor if you should have a mammogram.
Some doctors even recommend starting at 30! It all depends on your risk factors, life style and other information that your doctor will consider. Either way, please be sure you keep up with your self-exams! And definitely get a call into your doctor. You. Are. Worth it!
