Skin Deep’s Cosmetics Database lets you research ingredients, potentially harmful chemicals and/or additives that may be found in your current cosmetics, sunscreens, eyedrops, nail polish, toothpaste and many more. Over 25,000 items are included in the database. No registration is required, and site navigation is quite easy. Investigate, research, and be a smart-consumer.
However, I have to warn everyone that some of the listings seem swayed… please don’t go pitch all your cosmetics an makeup just because of the results on the Cosmetics Database. Please DO turn to the internet and begin researching potentially hazardous ingredients.
