I don’t wear waterproof mascara too often, so I don’t want to go spending a ton of money on something I only wear once a month. I only apply waterproof mascara when heading to the beach or pool. Otherwise, it’s just so much simpler to find a great standard mascara for daily wear.
CoverGirl’s Fantastic Lash is my favorite waterproof mascara. No smudging, clumps, and it stays put. I wish it would give me a bit more length, but like I said- I really only wear it to the pool & beach and it’s certainly not a fashion show.

What would you suggest for waterproof mascara that doesn’t smudge? I’ve tried 3 or 4, and I always end up with undereye smudges after a 2-3 hours. Regular mascara is definently out (at least in black and navy) because the smudging is even worse.
PS–How was Valkyrie? I’ve heard good and bad reviews…I love period pieces, but I’m a little hesitant because of Cruise.
