DS Labs has some progressive and creative ideas in their skin, hair and body care products; however the brand is not widely known. So to introduce all the Bionic Beauties out there to DS Labs, I picked up their Oligo DX Cellulite Reducing Gel.
Many of us hunt for ways to reduce cellulite without going under the knife. While there’s no miracle cream that reduces cellulite immediately on contact, some products do actually help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
During my testing with Oligo Cellulite Reducing Gel, I used the entire bottle in less than a week. Some of the active ingredients include Caffeine, Lotus Leaf extract, Ivy extract and Tripeptides (see the full ingredients list below).
I honestly did not feel, nor see, any difference. I normally notice something on the first application of a cellulite gel, so I really was disappointed to spend the money and have zero results. I am dealing with a relatively small amount of overall cellulite, but it just didn’t do anything for me.
DS Labs’ instructions suggest that the gel be used for 60 continuous days, and up to twice daily to accelerate results. That adds up to quite a few bottles; and quite a price tag. As with most cellulite gels that work via caffeine (or similar ingredient), you may notice more frequent urination since the gel works to rid stored water in your body’s fat cells. Also, for best results, try to avoid using lotions or other moisturizing body care (such as cream body wash) while using an anti-cellulite gel.
Overall, this one just didn’t work for me.
DermaDoctor has DS Laboratories Oligo DX Cellulite Reducing Gel for $38.50 for a 150ml tube. This is the best price I found while surfing the web.
On a side note, DS Laboratories donates 5% of its profits to the Natural Resources Defense Council to help care for the future of our planet. I wish more beauty companies would support efforts like this!
