Next up on my adventures with Lisa Hoffman- a shower! Wait, that came out wrong- I meant with her products.
The first bottle I found in my hands was the Body Polisher. The Body Polisher is a creamy body wash with scrubbing beads to help improve circulation and exfoliation.
After using the body wash, my skin felt smooth and healthy. I could definitely get hooked on this product!
Without really wanting to leave the steamy shower- I found myself looking over another product in her line- the Spa Shower Cleansing Gel. The Cleansing Gel is a product in Lisa’s Spa Shower line, which showcases the amazing fragrance of the Japanese Agarwood. New scent, woot!
The Spa Shower line is aimed more at feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and completely exfoliated. Afterward, my skin felt soft and lightly moisturized. The Japanese Agarwood fragrance changed a bit when it mixed with my body chemistry. I truly believe in the aromatherapy properties of Lisa’s unique scent choices. The fragrance actually made my teeth feel a bit ticklish during the shower.
A few things to keep in mind when using this product:
- Use the gel in the shower… hence, the name: shower gel (wink!), as you’ll need fresh water to fully rinse the product off. Be sure to read the directions on the bottle!
- It took several pumps to get enough for a full body lather. It felt like I went through quite a bit of product with just one use!
Overall, I was incredibly impressed by the obvious amount of time and effort that went in to creating Lisa Hoffman’s “spa bath” experience to use from the comfort of our own homes!
Lisa Hoffman’s Body Polisher is $40 on Amazon.com’s Beauty Department and the Spa Shower Cleansing Gel
is only $18.

Bronnie, too funny at the beginning of the piece!! LOL That said, thanks for the article.
It is frustrating when a product seems to require more quantity than should be reasonably necessary. I need just a very small amount of body wash from a much cheaper brand, which I am happy with. But reading the reviews of, and considering other lines, is always nice.
BOTH CREAMY AND EXFOLIATES, NICE. NICE COMBO, SINCE USUALLY A POLISH ALONE TAKES TIME, AND THEN TO WASH IT OFF AND LATHER. ALL TOGETHER IS A NICE IDEA. RIGHT NOW I AM USING A CARESS LIQUID SOAP “JAPANESE” AROMA. THIS COULD BE RIGHT ON LINE FOR ME.. I LOVE THE EXFLOLIATING PROCESS, I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE A SNAKE THAT HAS SHEAD HIS SKIN.
Great review! Thanks Bronnie!
I never heard of Lisa Hoffman, but you make her products sound heavenly. I really want to try the shower gel since I’m not a bath person anyway.
