Organix Hair Care has released a new variety this year- Grapefruit Mango Butter shampoo and conditioner. It sounds delicious, right?

If you are unfamiliar with Organix, you can typically find their offerings at your local drugstore or mass market retailer. They offer a variety of different flavors- mostly in the fruity family. The Grapefruit Mango Butter line is geared towards moisturizing your hair.
Both products left my hair feeling soft, clean and lightly scented. However, I don’t feel that the conditioner is good for women who need extra moisture (like I do). It really didn’t do much on the conditioning side other than detangle. If you only need a light conditioner, this will be perfect for you!
Organix’s only other drawback is the price. They typically run around $6-$6.50 at stores. For that price, I’d recommend the less expensive and higher quality John Frieda Root Awakening or L’Oreal EverPure Sulfate-Free hair care collections.

I agree about the conditioner not being so moisturizing. My thick coarse curly hair needs more than this gives… Too bad, it does smell good!

the coconut scent made my hair fall out! yikes, cause I loved the scent. I even tried just using the shampoo and using a non-scented conditioner, but that didn’t even work. ;-(
I love trying new shampoos & conditioners, but I’ll always be loyal to Herbal Essences “Color Me Happy.” You can’t go wrong with this brand! Great value, and excellent results……
these aren’t expensive at all! I love it.
