Tarte fRxtion is a really neat addition to any cosmetics collection, in my opinion. fRxtion will exfoliate and moisturize lips all in the same product!
fRxtion comes in a lipstick tube type container. When you pull the top off, a mirror automatically flips open, which is a complete and unexpected surprise! The lip product is like a lipstick, except one half is tightly pressed sugar for exfoliating and the other half is an emollient lip conditioner.
I find it works best to apply a touch of lip conditioner, then use the other side to scrub and exfoliate, enjoy the sweet taste while removing the few sugar crystals, then give a full application of conditioner. The best thing is it lasts and the exfoliating side doesn’t break down.
The end result is smooth, happy lips. Just in case you need to check, don’t forget the trick little flip out mirror!
tarte’s fRxtion is $11 from Beauty.com.

This sure looks like a fun new product! Thanks Bionic Briana!
Thank’s JC! I think so…..and great lasting power!
How does Tare fRxtrion work best?
Well, it’s just like a tube of lipstick, 1/2 side scrubbing exfoliant’s and sugar crystal’s, the other 1/2 is a nice emollient balm. I like to mix the two and massage my entire lip’s with the friction side, add balm if it dries up too much.
The more time you spend, the more you will increase the circulation to your lip’s. That is even the goal of many lip plumper’s..to stimulate circulation and encourage new growth after sloughing off the old.
I take a clean toothbrush and “brush” it all gently off of my lip’s at the end, and am ready for lipstick or just a nice layer of ybf Quench right after really rehydrate’s well.
If you have never used this type of product, be gentle, it’s very easy to over exfoliate anywhere at first and also keep the end clean.
