Help a Bionic Beauty Out: Sally Beauty’s Correctionist Eye Creme

A friend of mine, who is also quite the Bionic Beauty herself, asked me a question on Facebook. Since I haven’t had the chance to try this eye cream yet, I’m hoping one of you ladies in the land of the Internet can help us out…

Correctionist Multi-Benefit Eye Creme from Sally Beauty SupplySally Beauty Supply's Correctionist Multi-Benefit Eye Creme

Hi Jami,
I meant to ask you if you have ever heard of Correctionist Multi-Benefit Eye Creme (with Cerabrite Complex). I got a sample of it at my local Sally Beauty store, and it seems to work… but I am wondering if it is one of those that only works for week.

From my digging on the Sally Beauty website, the Correctionist Multi-Benefit Eye Creme sells for $12.99Sally Beauty Supply's Correctionist Multi-Benefit Eye Creme in it’s regular jar size. And like myself, I know that Lori doesn’t want to waste her hard-earned money on something that isn’t going to perform in the long run. I’ve been in her spot many times. I receive a sample size of something that seems amazing at first, but when I buy the product, it just doesn’t seem to have the same results.

So… have any Bionic Beauties out there tried this eye cream from Sally? Or do you have another recommendation in a similar (and accessible) price point?

I just googled Correctionist Multi-Benefit Eye Creme with Cerabrite Complex and found your blog…I found it at a Sally Beauty store on clearance…There were 3 jars, so I purchased all of them (because the clearance price was so inexpensive). I’ve been using it for more than 6 months (first jar, a little goes a long way). It seemed to work very well at first, but after a half a year, I’m not seeing the results I did at first. It’s a little heavy, so go lightly…I’ve used too much and it made my eyes watery and sting a bit. I’ve found that it works better if you alternate with other eye serums, creams, etc. When I haven’t used it for a week, it works as though I’m trying it for the first time. Hope this review helps!

Hi Jill, Thank you so much for your review!! I’m glad to her your thoughts on the product and welcome to Bionic Beauty! I hope to see you around the blog in the future.

I have tried many eye creams that seem to work better in a rotation – similar to what some people experience with shampoo and conditioner. If you rotate, they sometimes perform better. However, it kinda sucks having to buy multiple lines of things just so you can rotate. Especially during this economy, right? 😉

Thanks again for sharing your experience and review. I truly appreciate it!

I started using this eye cream not too long ago. My usual go-to’s are MAC Fast Response Eye Cream and Origins GinZing, which are both okay but the best I had been able to find… the Correctionist blows them both out of the water in a BIG WAY! I have horible allergy puffiness, sleep-deprived and dehydrated eyes. I noticed a HUGE difference with puffiness, smoothness immediately. My eyes look easily 10 years younger… It is fantastic! And the benefits continue to get better and better…and so affordable!
