Skin MD Natural, Rock Dissolving Acid, and Freebies, Oh My!

by Bionic Beauty on 26.Sep.2007 · 5 comments

Skin MD Natural has performed a demonstration video showing their protective Shield Lotion in the works. It’s quite dramatic actually. The guy, wearing the lotion on his hands, pours Muriatic Acid (used in swimming pools) over rocks in his hand and the Shield Lotion protects him from burns and dryness. It’s got me convinced enough to try their…. FREE SAMPLES! ($2.00 shipping and handling is yours to cover though.)
Bionic will report back with a full review once the samples have been evaluated. Oh, and a nice bonus? The Skin MD Natural products are affordable (a 1-2 month supply is $25), natural (water, aloe vera, etc), and are cruelty-free!!

Watch this video, tell me if I’m the only one who is amazed!

i think the video is kinda fake. he didn’t even wear goggles while handling the chemical. just my personal opinion. =)

I’m not sure either, but I know that goggles aren’t necessary when you are applying this product to your pool. Of course, you’d be in serious trouble if you did splash some in your eyes.

Hopefully my samples will be here soon, and I can review them! :)

I got the sample… bottle and a few packets and it’s nice stuff, but I don’t think it shields the skin – I bite my cuticles on occasion and the lotion didn’t shield me from Maryland’s famous Old Bay seasoning.

I look forward to your review, to see if it’s just me. :-)

I just got my samples today. I tried the lotion on quickly, my first impression is good. I am recovering from a hip surgery on Tuesday and the lotion seems to help keep the blisters on my hands from fully developing (from using my walker and crutches). I’ll certainly post a full review when I’ve tried the products out for a bit longer. :)
