Jen, That’s a great way of wording it!
Yes- it’s not too moisturizing, so I don’t use this to keep my hands from dry or healing, but rather to protect them from further damage, chemicals, or other harsh items.

I tried the samples of this product a few months ago and had mixed feelings. I think it probably works best with continual use and it is more of a shielding lotion (like the name says) than a moisturizing lotion.
