Winter skin can be dry, dull and well… boring. If you’re more on the pale side (like me) or want to spruce up your tan skin (it better be faux!), I adore Spell Cosmetic’s Body Gloss.
It’s basically a lotion that contains some shimmer. I use it during evenings out for a nice glow, or if my legs are looking a little ashy while wearing shorts and skirts. Plus the shimmer seems to create muscles in my calves that aren’t really there. Hey, it’s like a workout in a bottle!!
Bionic Beauty reviews Body Gloss lotion by Spell Cosmetics
Anyhow, I love love love this product… and check out the amazingly short list of ingredients: 98% Botanica shea butter, Titanium dioxide, Mica. Huh. Not too often that you can quickly count the number of ingredients in a beauty product, much less pronounce them all.
The lotion is unscented and uncolored removing the main causes for allergic reactions. It’s a medium-weight moisturizer, so you can layer it with your favorite lotion or wear it alone. It sinks in quickly and does not leave a sticky or goopy residue. The shimmer is subtle and just produces a nice, healthy glow; hence why I’m excited to add this to my winter skin wardrobe.
And shopping at Spell is pleasant. Customer service is quick and friendly, all their products are designed, produced and distributed by the owners themselves! It’s very hands on and geared toward *your* shopping pleasure. I love Elle (one of the owners)… she’s such a joy to work with. If you have questions on a product or need color/product suggestions, just contact them through the Spell site and someone will be back with you. I’ve emailed with all sorts of questions.
Spell’s Body Gloss is $10.99 for a 4 ounce pump bottle. I definitely recommend this Body Gloss… certainly a Bionic Buy!!
