Here’s Part 3 in Bionic’s series on lip color’s we should all be rocking for Spring 2009.
For more suggestions, be sure you caught Part 1 and Part 2. And then leave your thoughts below on any lip colors you’ll be wearing this spring!
Sorry about the color changes in my skin tone… I was trying to get the best light possible to catch how each lip color *really* looks; and our days went from brilliant sun to super-cloudy.

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Ultra Soothing Lip Tint in Cranberry
Are you looking for a low-maintenance, easy lip color for Spring? These Sally Hansen Natural Beauty lip tints are perfect. I loved their liquid application, subtle color, shine, very slight fruity scent, and absolutely zero stickiness. The only tiny drawback is the squeeze tube. While it works fine now as my tubes are almost full, I’m worried about squeezing them when the tube gets low. Will I be able to get all the product out? Like I said, small con on a scale of BIG pluses. These are fabulous lip glosses!

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Ultra Soothing Lip Tint in Melon
Keep your peepers peeled for the Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy line in your local drugstores or mass market retailers (like Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc).

Maybelline SuperStay Lipgloss in 770 “Sugared Raisin”
While I’m not a huge fan of the SuperStay lipglosses (here’s my review), I have to admit that this color is cool. It’s a soft grape with silver shimmer. Maybelline’s SuperStay gloss will run you $7.99 at Drugstore.com (special buy 1, get 1 half off sale right now though!) or check your local drugstore or mass market retailer.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Roman Holiday
Matte eyeshadows are very trendy lately, and this matte pink lip pencil fits right in with those looks. Here’s my original review… and originally the color wasn’t my favorite, it has REALLY grown on me. I especially like it with darker smoky eyes. Plus unlike many lip pencils, NARS Velvet Matte line is not dry- it glides on almost like a balm. $24 at Beauty.com

CoverGirl OutLast Lipstain in Everbloom Kiss
Ahh… lipstains! And finally a line in our local drugstores with a good range of colors. These markers aren’t too drying (but you should wear a balm or gloss overtop), plus I love that the marker shaped tip functions as a perfect lip liner. Everbloom Kiss is my favorite color so far. I’ll be wearing it to the beach this summer for a cool, low-maintenance, non-made-up look.
You’ll find the CG OutLast markers at Target, Walmart and drugstores for $7.49 (but they’re buy 1, get 1 half off right now at drugstore.com!)

CoverGirl OutLast Lipstain in Berry Smooch
Berry Smooch is a bit deeper than Everbloom Kiss. Perfect for gals with a bit darker skin tone. It’s a wine, berry. Applies nicely, and evenly which is great for a deep lip stain like this. Another winner from CoverGirl!
Again, the CG lipstains are only $7.49 (but they’re buy 1, get 1 half off right now at drugstore.com!)

You know, first hand, how much I love these…
Thanks BB for another great post!
I love the NARS lip pencils! I wish they were cheaper. I do own most of the outlast lipstains and am a big fan of those as well. I like to put lipgloss on top of them.
