Target to be invaded by elf!

I just found out that e.l.f. Cosmeticself cosmetics will be available in all Target stores starting November 1st! This is super news for us bargain makeup shoppers. They’ll be carrying an assortment of the $1, $3, $5, and $10 products in special black packaging exclusive to Target.

Over the upcoming holidays, Target and e.l.f. will feature the $1 Holiday Collection makeup pieces. Perfect stocking stuffers for teens, moms, and yourself. You can’t beat one dollar makeup!

I use my tinted moisturizer for traveling (don’t miss my review!); and the concealer is truly amazing- its my favorite e.l.f. product (here’s my concealer review). I also love their cream eye shadow duos: I use them on their own or as a base/primer for powder shadows.

After the holidays, you’ll even get a chance to checkout and buy the Studio line in Target (here are some pictures from the elf Studio line). If you’re a hands on gal like me, this is nothing but good news. Finding e.l.f. at a store you frequent will allow me to study a product and color before I purchase.

What are your favorite e.l.f. Cosmeticself cosmetics products?

I only have their brushes, but I love them. They actually carry them at the Dollar General. Wanting to try their makeup so when Target gets it, I’ll be there!

I love their eye shadows! Their eye liner glides on amazing too! I like the lipstick I only wish it was longer lasting!

Stacy, You’re right… I forgot about their brushes! I have their concealer brush and foundation brush. I actually use the concealer one for my cream eyeshadows. I heart Taklon brushes! 🙂

Jess, Okie dokie. I’m adding their eye liners to my list to try.

I did find some elf at my local Ross and a bit at a Kmart once. But my Dollar General doesn’t carry it. Boo on them.

Ok, I’m off to get dazzled up for Halloween Horror Nights! Sparkles, glow in the dark nails, Halloween spooky socks, and my Lancome Piha Black lip gloss are the musts for tonight. Although for the first time in weeks, it’s raining here. Grrr…. waterproof mascara then, I guess. Grrr (again). ha ha!

They have them at one of the stores here. Of course, it’s the store clear on the other side of town! It’ll be nice to see it in all the stores soon!

I can’t wait! I stalked both of my Target stores this weekend… nothing here yet. But it did look like they had their planograms (i.e. that’s Target speak for “layouts”) out. So maybe that means they are rearranging for the new e.l.f. endcap! Woo hoo!

AHHHHH! I am so excited. I may not love everyone of their products, BUT their brushes are fabulous, the mineral eye primer is as good as UDPP imho and I also love the Studio Complexion Perfection. I have to agree on the concealer, but they have so many and I prefer the Undereye concealer and highlighter.
I guess I am going to have to try their eyeliner now too. I don’t know if our Dollar General carries it, because it is nowhere close, but the closest K-Mart only has a tiny collection.

This is great news though!

Lori, I was wondering about that primer. I’m glad to here you like it. I’ll be sure to add that to my next order. I’m still thinking I may shop online some since they’ll have the full range of products and elf offers such amazing coupon codes.

I use the Tone Correcting Concealer currently in Tone 2. My wand just broke though. I’m using a Qtip to get that last bit out (gotta get my one dollar’s worth, ha ha!). Then maybe I’ll try the Studio concealer/highlighter combo.

My old Kmart had just a tiny bit too and they always looked like they had been run over. That store was a mess in general, though.

OMG! I’m so excited! I’ve wanted to try e.l.f stuff for so long but I couldn’t motivate myself to spend $6 or whatever on shipping for just a few items, so this should be perfect!

Victoria, This will work out perfect then! You can figure out what products you like by purchasing & checking them out in store, and if a good coupon code comes up for online shopping (usually it’s Buy 1, get 1 free; 15% off; 20% off; free shipping; or free goodies) then you can pick your favorites & order online! The best of both worlds.

So, whatcha gonna try first?!? 🙂

I will have to say that they have decent CS. If you order something that breaks or isn’t working properly and unfortunately it seems to happen for more than a few people. 🙁 , they do just credit your account. The only thing that I don’t like is that if you have an out of stock item in your order or if your missing something, they won’t send it to you they will only credit your account which means you would have to pay the 6.95 shipping again. So it’s not perfect, but still you get a lot of coupons and discounts.

I think this is a brilliant move for ELF! I also think the LE packaging is smart branding. I admit, I’ve never tried anything from the line –for some reason it’s not available in my area. I’m at Target, at least once a week, so there will be no excuses now!

I was there today and sadly… nothing new. I did see a dusty Pixi display, picked-over Napoleon Perdis and a smattering of JK Jemma Kidd Makeup. Is it smart for a store this size to only commit to stock 3 per SKU? All the best-sellers are always sold-out. On the other hand, Sonia Kashuk had plenty of shiny shelf space– and inventory. Make you go hmmm.

And yes, it does sound like
The best of both worlds.

…now only if there were a limo
out back to shuffle us all to and fro
Target! A girl can dream…
