Elf cosmetics is preparing to celebrate their two-millionth order! The theme surrounding this event is “Thanks a 2 Million!”… so to help get the party started, elf cosmetics’ asked me to list a few things that make me thankful.

You can view my submission here… leave a comment there if you wish, or here, and share what makes YOU thankful!

I’m thankful for my family and friends, for being on my team when I decided to change my life and follow a tough trail to do what I love. For a father who has been a fine example of what it is to be a man, for a mother who inspires me to struggle and win, and for a little sister who I can’t help but look up to as a beautiful, talented, and strong woman.

I’m thankful for my two brothers from other mothers who have steadied me through and enriched my life.

I’m thankful for my four-legged and furry companion for the support and love she gives me even when she’s been alone for too long.

I’m thankful for Legos, just because they are the ultimate geek engineer/architect training program!

I’m especially thankful for a bookstore and a couple cups of coffee. I’m not lonely anymore, even when I’m alone.

Thank you for sharing your “grateful list”, and for one of those cups of coffee.

And you’re right… Legos do rock for so many applications. They make great stalls for Breyer model horses too. 😉

I love how you included your close friends and family. Yes they are very important. I love the picture too.

Hi Eve, Thank you for the wonderful compliments! And yes, family and friends are very important to me. I don’t have a huge flock of friends, but instead just a few close ones. Even if we don’t live near each other or talk constantly, I still know they will be there for me whenever I need them. And that’s one of the best feelings in the world!
