if i have a shampoo or shower gel that is almost finished i just mix it up with water and use it to scrub the bathroom. i hate the smell of bleach and using shower gels makes entire bathroom smell nice

I have to say, the Ah-Ha Uses in any magazine/blog/whathaveyou are my most favorite things to read!

I use stuff in weird ways, too – right now, my Pond’s (Non-Cold) Cream is being used as, well, cold cream. My skin is so flaky – darned MN weather – that every night, I slather on the cream, rub it in for about a minute, and then wipe it off with a damp cloth. It gets rid of the flakes, softens skin, and uses up the ginormous tub of cream that’s been sitting around.
