Cool, thanks. Sudsing up doesn’t appear to be important, regardless of what/who the shampoos are used on, as long as they cleanse adequately (so I first heard when I discovered Wen on QVC. Haven’t bought it — too expensive for my budget.). The contributions to women’s shelters sounds awesome! Now, WHY haven’t I ever done that? I need to remember that one. It’s amazing how much we can brighten someone’s day, with even such a “simple” item such as a freebie. I once gave a woman at a thrift store a coupon I didn’t want (I left the store without buying anyting. Shocker! LOL). I later found out from a cashier that I really made that woman’s day, she was so grateful. I was very humbled, to say the least. I can only imagine what free shampoos and such would do for folks in a women’s shelter.

Tashi, Baby shampoos are GREAT for your makeup brushes! They may not suds as well since they are sulfate-free, but they are uber gentle.

Another idea for your freebies or items you don’t use is to donate them to a local women’s shelter. I usually take over 2-3 bags at the beginning of December each year. It’s a great way for the women to have a holiday pick-me-up.

Shampoo for cleaning makeup brushes=great idea! I’ve been doing that for years. I like the idea of keeping an eye out for freebies, especially for cleaning makeup brushes, etc., and for soap dispensers. I wonder if baby shampoos would work in a soap dispenser, or if they’d be good for makeup brushes, etc. Hmmm…

I use my shampoo to clean my makeup brushes. It keeps them nice and soft and does a pretty decent job of getting the old makeup off. I have noticed it takes a little bit longer to get them clean than when I used my brush cleaner, but it’s a whole lot cheaper!

Plus my Woolite is always out in the laundry area… and I always seem to do my hand-washables in the bathroom sink. So the shampoo is even closer… steps saved, are steps earned. ha ha!

I do that too!!! I also use body washes in my hand soap dispensers. Or free samples that I end up not using as shampoos or body washes, etc. There’s always a freebie from Wally World laying around my bathroom…
