Alison Raffaele has re-formulated her True Concealer, Reality Base and Transparent Finish. These are the products I use for a flawless look that lasts all day but still looks natural. The new products have a “Frutta di Vita” antioxident complex included in them. Also Alison has new primers which are sublime, one is age response, one is acne response.

Cherry, Thanks for the recommendations! What skin type are you, for reference? I know it’s so hard over the web to figure out what might work, but that might give me an idea on if I could try it. Thanks again!

During winter in Michigan I am about as sun deprived as you can get. I am a pale English girl in Michigan : ) To expand further, Alison’s concealer and foundation, either the liquid or the mineral powder, (no oxy-bismuth chloride), are great. Set any liquid products with Transparent Finish.

I have tried and really loved Alison’s True Concealer and am going to have to try some now that she has re-formulated.

I have very sensitive skin as well. I have had good results with Maven and Prescriptive foundations. I *love* tinted moisturizers; my favorite being Laura Mercier’s and Tarte’s.

Good to know. I do like tinted moisturizer in the summer time, last one I tried was by the Balm. It gave great coverage, I was surprised, good SPF too. It was called Balm Shelter.

As you know, I’m in love with tinted moisturizers. :)
Because it’s so dry here, especially during the winter, I really need this. I’m currently using Aveda’s, but they don’t have a very good shade selection, and the closest one that comes to my skin tone is Sweet Tea which I still find a touch too grey… just a touch. :)

I’m another tinted moisturizer fan-girl. Like Nenette states, it’s dry in the winter and if I apply mineral makeup in the winter, my skin just becomes a flaky mess. Plus I like how TM’s have some coverage, lotion, and SPF in one. Much less hassle. 😀

On a different topic, has anyone tried Revitalash? I am a week into using the product and have high hopes for my stubby little lashes.

Nope, haven’t tried it, but let me know how things go. My lashes are pathetic!

I have some online buddies who have tried it. The results, or shall I say, the thoughts were mixed almost 50/50. Some people swore it made their lashes bigger and thicker, and others had reactions or didn’t see any difference. If you do try it, take some before and after photos so you can share! :) (Pretty please?)

These are some great beauty tips. I’ve noticed sunless tanning as included in the topic as well. They’ve been working well for me, I’ve found most of mine at Sun Labs.

Back to the Revitalash story, this stuff really works. Sadly I did not think to take pictures – dumb I know. I noticed a difference after about 10 days, 3 weeks is to be expected per the info in the box. They are significantly longer, I would think thickening will take a little longer.
